Corporate Strategy Specialist

Team/division description

The Strategic Planning team is part of the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability function at Toyota Motor Europe.

It acts as a strategic business partner providing support for Toyota Motor Europe Corporate functions to develop their short- and long term strategy in view of the company’s transformation to a mobility company. The team is responsible for putting in place a robust governance framework to ensure smooth execution of the strategy whilst monitoring progress on a regular basis with all internal stakeholders involved.

In this role, the team coordinates cross functional activities, maximising synergies between the teams and driving overall employee engagement. Last but not least, it coordinates the people and organisational growth development within the function by establishing a training framework and creating a culture where everyone can be their true authentic selves.

Your project

Your main project will be to:

- Plan and support the follow up of the Corporate strategy implementation (short and long term strategy)

- Overall support to the function, including monthly function meetings and agenda management

- Event planning and organisation of Corporate Affairs Pan-E conference, team buildings and year-end activities

- Support in developing presentations, communication materials and business reports

- Assist with the roll out and monitoring of functional countermeasures in response to the Employee Motivation Survey

- Manage training budget and monitor training progress

- Support with budget control and administrative tasks

- Project management e.g. newcomers onboarding implementation

- Participation in automation/AI pilots

Jouw profiel

Your profile

- Education: Preferably University degree in Business Administration, but flexible with other backgrounds

- You have strong planning capabilities, are structured and well organised

- You are able to synthetise complex data and information into clear visual summaries; ideally you have advanced Excel skills

- You have budget/financial accounting experience

- You are a mature personality with good communication skills, able to liaise with all levels of the company

- You are a teamplayer and are able to work independently as well

- You are proactive and enjoy working in an international environment

- You are fluent in spoken and written English; any other European language is an asset

- You have experience to work in Powerpoint and develop presentations

- You are eager to learn and have an innovative and agile mindset

  • Interne diensten adviseren en technisch ondersteunen bij hun communicatieacties
  • Leveranciers of dienstverleners selecteren
    Onderhandelen over contractvoorwaarden
    De geleverde diensten of producten controleren
  • Communicatiedragers ontwikkelen: Beeldmateriaal (tekeningen, logo's, grafisch charter, ...)
  • Een partnernetwerk uitbouwen
    Informatie over de sector, reglementeringen, technische informatie en mediaverslaggeving opvolgen
  • Communicatiedragers ontwikkelen: Multimedia (cd-rom, webpagina, ...)
  • Schriftelijke, visuele of audiovisuele communicatieproducten uitwerken
  • De kwaliteit van de verspreide informatie controleren
  • De logistieke uitvoering van communicatieacties, -producten en -dragers plannen (verspreiding, expositie, distributie, …)
  • Meewerken aan presentaties, lezingen, geleide bezoeken voor klanten, partners, …
  • Communicatiedragers ontwikkelen: Audiovisueel materiaal (telefonische kranten, telematicakranten, films, ...)
  • Publicrelationsacties, informatieverspreiding en promotieacties opzetten
  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Persberichten
  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Jaarlijkse balans, jaarverslag
  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Toespraken
  • De inhoud van een website beheren
  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Catalogi, brochures, affiches
  • Het communicatiebeleid van de organisatie bepalen
    Het budget en de uitgaven van de communicatieacties vastleggen
  • Een aanbod ontwikkelen van publicaties op uiteenlopende communicatiedragers
  • Schriftelijke communicatiedragers opstellen: Intern publicatieblad, interne nota's
  • Communicatiedragers ontwikkelen: Sociale mediaprofielen
  • Een dienst of een organisatie leiden
  • Sociale media-toepassingen inzetten in professionele processen
  • Economische en strategische belangen van de dienst of een organisatie bij politieke en administratieve organisaties promoten
  • Gegevens van de activiteiten actualiseren (stuurbordgegevens, statistieken, …) en rapporten van communicatieacties opmaken
